Hey blu, went to see your photos, and wow, you have some beautiful chickens. And I have a question...is that last picture a picture of your set up for the chickens???!

I had to go look to know what it was. It is just one I found online. I would love it though.

Blu, oh goodness, sweet babies! I can't imagine how busy you guys are there. I'm glad that little doe is doing so much better. She's such a cutie.

I would be interested in one more McMurray order the end of March if anybody is ordering, I would be glad to "go in" on an order to meet the minimum. I have a neighbor that wants three different kinds

I think I am losing one of my new chicks. It is the little chipmunk one with fluffy cheeks...

poor thing wasn't moving much yesterday and it is not moving at all today.

Sad....that breaks my heart for you! have you tried giving it any vitamins in a dropper or anything? I have some powder vitamins here if you need them, you add to water. Oh man I hope she makes it. Glad that little goat is doing ok, she is so teeny and sweet.

I don't have any vitamins.I should have thought of that last night. I think it is too late now.
Might have to stock up on that though. Can you get it at IFA? Sounds like something I should have on hand.

No but if we had the land she would have me build it for her. If you look at my pictures you will see one that is grey and red. That is hers. If we keep getting chickens I may either have to build another coop or expand hers somehow.

I got them at CAL ranch, they are open Sundays...they were by the items that come with the yellow label, up above the bags of feed.. like the poultry conditioner, grit, egg cleaner....they are a yellow powder and you add a teeny bit (like a 1/4 teaspoon to a quart) of water, so they last forever. I would post a pic, but I put them in a glass jar with a tight lid and threw the bag away so I cannot remember exactly what they were called... I gave it to my girls when they had that weird cold thing starting last December and they all snapped right out of it, and my Frisco recovered pretty fast from the limp she had from the dog bite. I think they seem to work pretty well. I have seen people on here use the infant vitamins too...these were really inexpensive though and make mass quantities so I tried them first.

thanks I will pick them up next time we go in. Just got back from there, We had to go get calcium for the goat that kidded yesterday. She was starting with hypocalcemia and is not producing any milk. She is a little better now so I think I caught it early enough.
