Utah!

They deliver to your house. It was $100 dollars for 500 lbs. I added the oyster and the pellets. I was thinking of adding Barley.

Here I thought I saw some barley in it? Are you just wanting more barley?

Do they sell less? That's a lot..guess it would last a while! 250lbs would be great.

Weeellllll....I don't have to wait til 5 months to see what gender my showgirl is. It is ten weeks old, and is in the garage. Crowing.

Since when do they crow at TEN weeks???

I have to admit, it is kind of adorable. And the crow is very tolerable. WIll have to see how loud it gets.....

Quote: whoops, i meant oats. it is cracked wheat, cracked corn, and whole barley. As you can see the barley hasn't been husked so they get a lot of extra vitamins and minerals. They will only deliver 500 lbs or more but they sell 50 lb bags. Maybe you could get a couple people to go in on it. I will need more in May or June and you could add to my order then. The name is Pahvant Growers 435-864-2804 Delta Utah

Bad girl. Stop that crowing.

So the two chickens that are out in Tooele with my BF are, to my knowledge, a hen and a cockerel. My BF swore up and down that they were both roosters and crowing. I told him no, I'm pretty sure the one is a hen. This morning he texts me, "Found where that rooster is laying eggs".

Oh dear. Oh dear Oh dear. Sorry Lisa. You will get a girl, you will get a girl. You will get a girl. I should order some showgirl eggs when I see some. Between you and myself hatching, maybe we can get a bearded girl.

Phoenix, not sure what to do lol I may rooster you. Especially after that post!
I may pause to think about this. I am not ready to hug him goodbye! i kind of have to hang on to him at least for a little while to keep my other 8 week old company, I have no other teenagers to transition out to the coop with her. Ack!

Cynthia, I have more eggs coming, cross fingers!

In other news----right on target. :) Pretty close anyway!

2 pips out of 5 so far on the FBCM eggs, just going into day 21 this evening. Anyone want some baby chicks? I don't think I am going to have room for these little ones for very long!
