Utah!

Bresse sounds cool.

Darn you all! Now I want more babies. xD Will have Brahma babies soon if all goes well!

Darn inexperienced Cassandra. Running out of interesting things to say. XD

just go watch my webcam (link in my siggie). It'll be all ok.

Darling babies, madchicken.

It is NOT ok. I saw that nice brown egg and all I can think about is how bad I want another FBCM chick to be a girl. I got no girls this year, 6 boys I grew out and rehomed thinking they would be the girls. I sold a few to Donna lol I think she got the only females :p

I should never have started watching your hatch, I am always up all night because I cannot turn it off. Either I start with the caffeine right now or go sleep. Hmmmm......They look pretty busy in there. Maybe I will clean house for a bit and just peek now and then... ;)

Woah, I have never put together that you were my favorite egg cam person! how did I miss that?!?!
Wow sometimes I'm not that bright ;)

Gary, those are some high vaults on those silkies! They will look great! I love that little silver chipmunk one. It will probably change real quick.

Lisa..lol..me too in down sizing, but I have so many babies. My chickens are starting to get used to new pullets showing up out side their grow out pens. I have to down size my big flock. I have a new layer, the Welsummer, and now my Blue EE that could be an OE, is squatting. I really will have a hard time selling more after this first red star goes. I even don't like the idea of selling her, but I can't keep them all. :( She doesn't lay as often as my Reba, red star, so she goes first. Reba just may have to stay. Even DH likes her. She lays almost every day, if not for a couple of weeks in a row, then a day off, then back she goes! Very sweet girl, comes up to people, and is kind to the new pullets.

Birdman, awww! I wish I could take him, but we already have three cats.

And my BF has two. One adopted from the shelter, one that was abandoned and adopted my BF. I hate it when animals are left homeless.

Does anyone want a baby mallard? One of the BYC'ers local to where I am has hatched one that he says is a male, about a week old now. He can't keep him and he has to find him a new home. If someone wants him, I am willing to help get him transported. I would take him, but I'm not set up for ducks and I worry that he wouldn't do well here.
If you would be willing to bring him up to Chickenstock, I would take him!!

Oh dear, Lisa, I didn't know you never got the girls you wanted! I have one of the Marans girls left (a guy buying wyandottes talked me into letting the others go!) and you are welcome to have her if you like! I will be swimming in Joel's Welsummers by the end of summer, so I have all the dark brown egg layers that I want! She's a pretty girl--just hanging out with Asher's one little Easter Egger and 2 Andalusian girls. I unfortunately don't have time to bring her up to you, what with work and all, but if there is a chicken train going through anytime soon, I can send her your way. :) I'm not much into the Marans myself--like them well enough, but I've already got my four happy breeds and Asher's still trying to cram the idea of a whole flock of Ameraucanas down my throat (persistent child!). Of course, he also wants to go to Disneyland and he isn't getting THAT real soon, either...

ROFL Cyndiloowho, I thought you watched my webcams because you knew me. LOL

Sometime in the night, I think I had that FBCM egg hatch, as well as one more legbar, so I believe I have four out now- the OE, 2 legbar, and FBCM. Not totally sure though. I figure I can go to the school in about an hour and transfer everyone over. Can't wait!

Lisa, that FBCM came from the bcm I hatched at the preschool last year, and the bcm rooster that I got from Sundance. They're both beautiful birds. If I can make the bird train work with Corvidae, I definitely will. I'm supposed to go to Salt Lake on Friday evening to watch IronMan 3. movie starts around 7 I think, so I could pick it up afterwards. But, you're probably leaving Friday for chickenstock, so probably no bueno.
