rlh1, those are cute I love the last picture!

Sheesh, I just had to do an archaeological dig back through the posts on here to figure out when I separated my Icelandics! That was a trip.

Had to post Brandi's one little NN...oh my goodness, I tried to get these little ameraucana muffs! Too cute! They stick straight out there, and it has a nice muff, and it looks like a girl, and could I talk her out of it? NO. :( lol.... here she is.

When you look at her from above, or from behind, you can see her tufts sticking out.

I am hatching some eggs from the gal that she got all these cute NN's from. Some are
bantams. I am keeping one of the bantams that Brandi has now, this same coloring, but
small. :)

Thanks for asking. Not so hot. The pain is out of control on the left side of my head. Meeting with a spine specialist next week. Hope they can help.

Let's hope they can figure something out here!! Are they going to look at the upper C section in your spine? I have a place that is bad again, and it's in the upper C area, and say that this is the area that causes migraines which I've suffered with for years. Not sure I want surgery just yet..just had that not too long ago. Keeps up updated. Hopefully you will come back with some good news one way or the other.

I've decided I'm going to turn into an OCD wreck over the next month or two! I have some BLRW chicks hatched from one of the egg sets I bought to keep a little genetic diversity in my flock. Looked at them today really closely for the first time in a week or two--I'd been feeding and watering and cleaning and such, but too busy to pay attention to how they were feathering in just yet. They are about 4-5 weeks old now and some of them still have chipmunking on their backs and almost all of them have cream colored chests. I have NEVER seen that in any of my chicks, so I though right off the bat that someone had sold me some mixed eggs and now I have chicks I'm going to have to rehome! Then I noticed their wings were much shorter than my birds at the same age. Hmmm. Slow feathering gene? Something's up there. So I post to the BLRW thread and am told they could be a complete waste of time (breeding wise) OR, they could become the best looking birds I have. AAARRGGHHH! Now I am going to go crazy until they grow out for a few more months, just waiting to see if they are gorgeous or appalling!!! I AM NOT A PATIENT PERSON!
