I give my chickens corn on the cob all the time. And as far as watermelon, all that's going to be left is the skin. I sometimes hit up the fruit stands during the summer for the melons that are over ripe and getting thrown out. I take them home and freeze them and give them to the chickens the next day. Another favorite at my house is ripe apricots that fall out of the trees. I use to hate apricot season but know i now longer have to rake them up.I'm getting ready to make corn on the cob, can the chickens eat the husks if I through them outside to them, and can they eat any of the left over corn on the cob after it is cooked, of course with nothing on it. And I'm cutting up a watermelon, do they eat the green parts? I thought about leaving some water melon on it for them, but also letting them have the green part too.
