Utah!

Our town just barely started having a small carnival down town for our home town days. So no fair, they don't even have a craft show or anything. I could see maybe Lehi or American Fork. Not sure will have to look into it.
Sorry, I think they are just normal Silkies, I got them from Gary about 8 weeks or so ago. I'm not even sure if they really are Roos, they are just double the size of the other 2, and their combs are starting to get big bumps, and they square off and fight with each other all day long.
If you want her showing 4H down the road, there are two divisions... showmanship (which is what she knows about and how to handle the bird) and presentation of the bird (which is judging of just the bird). She does have to know how to do the first one. If you just want to put it in the fair, you need know nothing.

Does any one else do birchen marans? I have ten boys and one girls. Really could use some pullets.

Sundance, I have one of your boys from the sizzle roo, but he did not express the frizzled gene. He is too small to eat, but that will be his destiny here. No space for anymore boys. I have 15 of them right now

I posted the Buttercups that my neighbor got thinking they were EE's on KSL. She paid $10.00 each for them, but we put $10 for one or $15.00 for both. If anyone wants them, please let me know. They are 3 weeks, so she was told. They are pretty feathered. I have them outside in the grow out run, and they love it.

You can even pick out of the 3, she know's which one she for sure wants. So there are 3 that you can pick out of.

Hay we are neighbors I live south of Fielding. we my even know each other. I dont have any poltry at this time but have had a lot in the past.

I think they will let them do anything, not sure. We don't have anything special either. Just about everyone I have here was rescued, or I got from someone on here. I do know my Houdan that I is her favorite chicken came from McMurray Hatchery, so she's probably not the best looking either. But we love her, even though she really is a stupid little thing, but I really think its because she can't see. LOL She cracks me up.

I so love my Houdans too :) Definitely my favorites for the "pet" factor. I have one born end of January that is getting ready to lay, yay! I love how I can just pick them up, no chasing them when they are out in the yard, I just walk over, pick them up. Like a cat. My Roo, Dwight, is super sweet too :love
