If you want her showing 4H down the road, there are two divisions... showmanship (which is what she knows about and how to handle the bird) and presentation of the bird (which is judging of just the bird). She does have to know how to do the first one. If you just want to put it in the fair, you need know nothing. Our town just barely started having a small carnival down town for our home town days. So no fair, they don't even have a craft show or anything. I could see maybe Lehi or American Fork. Not sure will have to look into it.
Sorry, I think they are just normal Silkies, I got them from Gary about 8 weeks or so ago. I'm not even sure if they really are Roos, they are just double the size of the other 2, and their combs are starting to get big bumps, and they square off and fight with each other all day long.
I think they will let them do anything, not sure. We don't have anything special either. Just about everyone I have here was rescued, or I got from someone on here. I do know my Houdan that I is her favorite chicken came from McMurray Hatchery, so she's probably not the best looking either. But we love her, even though she really is a stupid little thing, but I really think its because she can't see. LOL She cracks me up.
