I can't believe it..I'm going to order them..they are just too darn cute. I am putting my Favorelle Bantam up for sale. I have a cochin that is close to start laying soon... Anyway, She is the only bantam I've had in there that really wants out. I feel sorry for her. She walks the line like she's been out before, but she hasn't. I tried it one day, but my RIR's are way too bossy for her. She squats even if you talk to her..seriously.

Anyone have a nice sized place for a bantam to free range? She is a love. She lays every day, misses only once or twice maybe, a week! I know she will go broody again, but she sure does lay well inbetween!

And I think I'm almost ready to let go of my 2 Silkies, I'm sure both are Roo's, the Silkie thread thinks so too, but they are still too young to really say 100%. They are from Gary, and they are beautiful. Both have awesome beards. One is a Blue Splash, but I was told on the Silkie thread that he is a self-blue. The other one I was told is either a Self Blue Partridge or a Self Blue Porcelain. None of which makes any sense to me.

I'm going to go ahead and the list the birds I'm going to be selling... Though I'd like to see if someone in the chapter wants them first...
Welsummer Pullet Hashtag, White Leghorn Pullet Bianca, Black Naked Neck Pullet Calvina... And maybe my Easter Egger Pullet, Mimzy. All were born near the end of March. They should be laying in August. :3

Then my Wheeler Farm chickens... I have a Splash Silkie... She has some hard feathers but she is a good layer. I named her Cookie. Got her from Wheeler Farm.
Then the Blue Sizzle I got from Sundance... He's just not been much use for me and he's giving my Brahma a hard time.
I also have a Light Brahma... If I can get a good Light Brahma roo then I'll keep her and sell Zaphod... She's a really good hen for a Wheeler Farm dropoff! Also got her from Wheeler farm.

Not having any luck finding blue hens. So I might just scrap that idea and try Light Brahmas if I can... I could try hatching out or purchasing some Light Brahma chicks and keep a cockerel for next year... I don't know anyone though. I need some sort of project.

If I go that route, I'll also be selling or giving away my Buff Brahma roo, Zaphod... He's a sweetheart so I'd like him to go to a good home. He's trustworthy around kids. ^^

Oh Shannelle! I'm soo excited that you want her. Did you see her on ksl? I am asking 20 for her, but for you guys will go 15. Your little Kylie could show her too..she is pure. And sooo sweet!
Not sure when you will get her, Brandi has been having contractions, and she can't go into real labor, she has to be watched because she has to have this baby c-section. So no going anywhere for a while. I hope she gets close enough for them, she is ready to have that baby. If she doesn't have contractions as close as 5 to 7 mins. apart..she will be going in on the 29th to be started anyway. She was pretty reg. at 12 mins apart last night! Whoot..can't wait to see this little guy.
I am going to ksl now to post sold. ) Maybe Kevin will be coming down this way again?

my broody is cool to the touch? still really pale, i lifted her off the nest to check for mites and didn't see any... I don't think she's eating...i have been watering her with a dropper every few hours now but she won't stand up and when i put her on her feet after checking for mites she was really wobly and sat where she was...she has only one chick left that has peeped but not hatched and i put a 50 what light on them at a little distance... now she has her head tucked under her wing...what can i try to get her to eat? am i doing the right things?

Gizmo, my black crested White Polish. Very Sweet, very much holds her own with the big girls...but she likes to yell every time she sees me and won't stop. Even when I am right there petting her she yells. She lays an egg most every day. 6 a week. Early day layer. She is so talkative, but a little bit more than what i need with 2 roosters crowing day and night.

Anybody want her? She is going on KSL today.

Oh Casa.... she is truly beautiful!!!!!!! Like I need to even think about getting another breed

What do you guys think about all the toddlers being found wandering alone? I'm very confused with this. Who would loose track of their child that long? and thank goodness they aren't being found by pedophiles.
The one kids baby sitter didn't realize he was gone from 730 to noon and only then because he was on tv? I'm not trying to be judgemental but I'm very confused by this.

It's crazy!!!! I too try not to be judgmental but I would have gone nuts if I couldn't see my kid... then again, I was accused of being over protective.

Be careful forcing her to drink..make sure that you give it to her very slowly..you don't want it to go down the wrong tube. If it goes into her trachea, she could get sick. Just tiny drops at a time if you think she needs it. Good luck.

she'll kinda purr at it but that's about it ant it has to really climb on her the chick gets really loud with little or no response.
