Utah!

I have one SLWxGLW Roo. (At least that's what they said on the SLW thread.) Here's a pic:
He actually just saved his girls from a dog the other day! The dog, unfortunately, bit his tail feathers right off! :( He's an awesome roo.

Ok chicken folks, I have a few roosters looking for homes, let me know if you are interested!
These are from the polka dot gang--showgirl/naked neck mixes or Showgirl/FBCM. They are really cute and extremely friendly/sweet so far.

**Warning, lots of nudity (necks) haha :D

The FBCM/Showgirl:

Cute boys, Lisa! I hope you find homes for them soon.

My cockerel that was having problems is doing better today. I've been giving him vitamin supplements, and it seems to be helping a lot. Yay.

And, I found the funniest thing in the brooder this morning. One of the Seramas laid a fart egg. I took a picture of it, but I'll have to upload it later. I'm pretty wiped out from the week and need a nap. And, on a bit more of a morbid note, today I found a turkey neck that I'd thrown out for the chickens around Thanksgiving. Well...........chickens are very efficient foragers. Especially if they're bored. There wasn't a single shred of meat left on those bones, lol.

Some would not say...cute....haha but I am glad you like them. To me they are adorable. To most....weird!

Glad your boy is doing better, soooo glad it is not Marek's. I never thought about letting the chickens "pick the bones", that is a good idea!

Well im down to 2 bantam eggs still growing.
You and me are down to 2, but I hope mine are okay. I was out all day long today. I had a bridal shower, and then I took my daughter out door to door to sell Girl Scout Cookies, I get home around 4pm, and go to turn them and the top is right below 102, and the bottom at 100. they were like that for who knows how long. I hope I didn't cook them, I will cry.

Any thoughts? You think they are okay. I don't have the heart to tell my 5 year old if they don't make it.

But Lisa, OMG I totally wish I could have one of the Black/Golden boys. Talk about handsome little dudes. I hope you find them great homes.
