Hey every one. Lisa(casa de Polo) told me this is the place to talk chickens. Right now I'm looking for some fertile eggs . I would like to start a batch this Monday .

Would love some fertile eggs. If any one had some. I bought a new incubator and want to try it.

OMG Lisa, I want one of your ones with the black dots.  I miss my hokey pokey.  Still so weird going out there everyday and not have her come running. 

They are so sweet huh! I sold all the NN polka dot pullets dang it! ---and then these chicks are SBEL's, these extras are all sold too, waiting for pickup. They are basically white EE's, and lots get get blue or black polka dots so they look alot like those paints.

YouCluckingAtMe, I do have lots of fertile eggs. Most would be olive eggers or pure french black copper marans. My only rooster at the moment is a gorgeous FBCM. Hens include legbars, RIR, speckled sussex, BLRW, silkie, olive eggers, buff orpington and FBCM.


At the moment, I have 5 pure FBCM. Then about two dozen mutt eggs. I found the silkie in the nest box today, so she's definitely laying. I won't bother hatching frizzle eggs- I've never found a fertile one. I think the rooster is just too big to mess around with my tiny frizzles.

I shipped a dozen eggs to GA for a hatch. She had a total of 9/12 hatch. Pretty amazing for shipped eggs, right?


Chickenstock would be ever so much fun.

Wendy-are you coming to the Salt Lake area in the middle of March anytime? I want to do the Easter Hatch, and I would love for an Olive Egger if possible. I need to find some eggs to set of the Easter Hatch Along. I should have never got that incubator, I just look at it everyday, thinking it needs something in it.

I second that. Sphinx's roo is one of the most beautiful roosters I have ever seen. He is stunning!

I live in Clinton. At the moment, I only have 5 FBCM, but you're welcome to buy them if you are interested.




Silly, I go to Salt Lake nearly every Saturday. My dh works just off 2700 S and Bangerter, so meeting up with him would be really easy.
