Utah!

Well, I wouldn't count them out yet, Silly. Remember they're not late until tomorrow. But yeah, sometimes stuff does happen. Sounds like you've had a great hatch. Can't wait to see pictures.

They are still in the incubator, I will leave them in there till tomorrow, but I was just checking them since everything was either out or pipped, and I clean out all the egg shells really fast, it was way over crowded in there. Looks like another OE is almost out, and I have to leave. Dang it!

hey everyone! thank you so much for the great advice and very kind thoughts! sadly, Lonely didn't make it through the day either. i'm trying to learn everything i can so that hopefully this doesn't happen again. do you think that it would be a good idea to add vitamins to chicks water from the very start? not just when they're sick? i've been adding acv, but maybe i need vitamins too. thanks! :)
I use a tini tiny pinch of vit-al in their water I found at the ifa store and put that in their water everyday. I make sure to get them new water every night/morning since the electrolites spoil. Another good one ive always been told is the liquid vitamin polyvisol for babies in the pharmacy section. This is what I gave my weak babies straight by hand to their beak twice a day when they were really needing help but you could add a few drops to their water everyday to.

Any idea what this could be on my splash baby? I noticed it the other day. She's one of the biggest chicks so it would be weird if she were being picked on. She holds her own pretty good with everyone and ive never noticed anyone picking on another. They all seem to get along great so what in the world could this be? Its completely bald. Oh and her crop was very full because she'd just finished pigging out on boiled egg lol.

Here's a couple pics I took of my 3 week old black silkie (hoping pullet) I took just today for fun :) I havent seen any trace of a crest growing on her yet so far so im thinking about selling her and waiting till I find one that does. I'm a big fan of the heavily bearded/crested babies, so I want to make room for one that does since I do have a limit I can keep lol. She's a sweetie though and wanted to follow me around outside lol I just wish she were fluffier. What do you guys think?
