Cute kitty! Yep, that's what my little hens looked like. It was maybe just those particular hens. They were the smallest and ran around ripping the feathers out of everyone else. I didn't own a roo and of my 15 hens ALL of them were missing feathers but the SB's! I would have to take a broom and shoo them off of some of the other hens they were being so mean. They roamed in a 1/2 acre fenced in area that everyone was content to stay in but the SB's. They knew where I kept the cat food and would constantly pace the fence looking for the teeniest place to squeeze out and run to the porch, leap up on top of the trash can and try to knock the can or kick the lid off so they could get to the cat food. Barbarians!!! I tried to be patient. I tried to be loving. In the end they were re-homed!! I think I heard a collective sigh of relief from the other hens that day!

Hahaha Rural, I know it's not funny, but your brat SB's are cracking me up - and it's because I've had hens like that, too. One of my Icelandic hens is like that. Her nickname is Psycho. She actually chased my neighbor once! This little SB chick is peppy, but not mean that I've seen.

Brian, where are you again? If you can get anywhere close to me, I'll give you some eggs. They're mixes. I live in Tooele and work in Murray.

I live in spanish fork. It would probably be a week or so because I want to be 100% sure my girl is broody. She was in and out all day but she just went in and settled down on the golf ball I have for her. I think my salmon faverolle is trying to go broody too so if that's the case I will be wanting a few eggs for them.

have eggs and am planning on going to chicken stock if the weather is decent. I will be bringing fertil eggs and some chicks. I am a little concerned about chicken stock because there isn't much info on the website. I am considering taking a couple of chickens to show if the show is still on
