Utah!

Are there any sweet, mellow, calm breeds that don't go broody? All of the birds I have now are sweethearts! Silkies for fluffy cuteness and orpingtons for eggs, and a little fluff. I chose the breeds because they are kid friendly and mine have more than lived up to the expectations! But they are all pretty young. I know that once the first one decides to go broody that I will have a henhouse full of broody! It would be nice to have at least one or two reliable layers that are immune. :)

Hey all! Sorry I've been MIA, been in California since Friday. Popped on today because I needed a chicken fix....I miss my chickens! I know they're being well taken care of, bit I miss them! I think the last time I posted was about my OEGB being a Roo. I have been wondering if I can make him a rooster collar. Has anyone had any luck making one out of Velcro to fit smaller size chickens?
