Hi peeps! The thirteen eggs i put in my mini adv. started to hatch Tuesday night. Out of the thirteen eggs that went in 9 hatched. 2 were from a new layer and weren't even fertile so tectonically 9 out of 11 hatched. Is anyone wanting a Silkier or a Sizzle chick? Three of them have giant domes. There is a really neat one that is white color with black stripes on its back, this is a first for me. My parts came in for my DIY incubator but i still did not get it finished for the New Years hatch along so i improvised. I ordered a 12 dc incukit to use for a brooder but in the last moments i crab a medical cool or and used it as a incubator. I have never tried to build an incubator and hope i get A good hatch rate out of these. Temps are staying at 99.5 and only varying +-.5 degree.I'm just not sure about the humidity so i am going to wing it. Every persons answer is different.

Oh my goodness these are adorable! Are they regular silkies and sizzles all mixed together so we don't know which is what till they feather? Do you know how incredibly tempting these are since I already have new chicks anyway, so whats one or two more lol. Are you giving them away or selling them? I am feeling awefully interested in all the ones with high domes especially the light bluish one. Is that lavender? Don't have that yet lol.

I will try to get better pictures, but these are Lisa's babies I hatched out. I think the austrawhitemarans is a roo for sure, along with the dark olive egger. The light olive egger and fbcm are hens I think, and I have no idea on the little silkie.

Iluv..;.Like i promised, being my last hatch of the year, yes they are free to my BYC Friends. But only 1 free per Friend, after the first 1 they are $5.

Cynthia.. I'm not sure but i am thinking at least 2! These are the ones i am suspecting.
