Thanks folks! I have a friend in southern Utah that has a small hatchery. I ordered a dozen Silver Laced Wyandottes from him and he was really nice and sent me 2 dozen. The problem is, I don't have room in my incubator. They were laid yesterday. Anyone want to buy the extra dozen for $8?welcome![]()

that blue headed one is not mine, its someone elses hereBrad, as soon as I saw your one with the blue head, I wondered..I have one outside that was hatched New Yrs. Day..I still can't tell for sure..but I am thinking more and more..that it's a boy. There is too much red coming in now along with that orange. Has that swirly feathering around the neck big time, but not sure I am see saddle feathers. This rooster thing isn't something I do for long..with the looks of this one, thinking it was a boy, I would have placed him by now. But, I'm going to try the collar. Worked pretty good on my bantam boy once I got the hang of where it went and how tight. Took three days of trying. Didn't make the noise go away all together, but oh boy, was a lot more quiet. My girls announcing that they have to lay are nosier.
Iluv, how fun that you got to do that! What a nice high vault.![]()
