Yup. That's right. Next year I will have some pure hatching eggs available from stock from Iowa and Oregon. (I kept the ones that I thought would be closest to SOP... the dark coloring with no white wing or tail feathers), but I'm not guaranteeing show quality. But they are such a fun breed. Depending on how they lay, I may start leaning towards keeping them as my "base" breed.May have to give them a try one of these days. Assuming you have the Speckled variety?
