Mine does ok until they start flapping or squawking, then he just goes into predator mode and grabs them in his mouth and shakes them, completely zoned out, does not hear or see us yelling at him until it is over. Then he knows he is in BIG trouble and hides. He gets a couple each year, it Is really frustrating, my boys just forget and let him out when I am not home. Despite the giant note on the back door
