La Casa, I'm so sorry about that. We lost a BR tonight from our neighbor's dog. Such a bummer.

Candled our eggs again tonight. Our remaining 6 are still alive and looking pretty good I think! I even saw life in my dark brown egg from Banna! Yay! Its so dark and speckly. We were wondering what was going on inside. I'm still a bit worried about this one Legbars air cells. Here's some updated pics of it. The chick seems to be cradled between them.

That dog has just gone down the line, best, then next best, then next best, then my only grow out roo I had from Tornado my old roo that is gone..., now the best hen that is left again! Haha. turd!

If you remember (If not, that is okay... It was a long time ago) The day before my chickens got attacked by the neighbors dog, I had dusted all the hens to get rid of their lice. Then the next day, 4 of our hens got attacked and killed. We decided to get 5 baby chicks the same day (that was the Saturday before Easter. Officially the worst Easter ever!). We gave the chicks to our broody, and I have been watching the hens for any signs of lice. We couldn't redust them due to the fact we had the chicks with them. Well, I am finally noticing signs of lice again. Do you think the chicks are now old enough to be dusted with the lice stuff? They are fully feathered (except the very front of their head) and they, are at my guess, 7 1/2 weeks. Any help is welcome.
