MyPetChicken has them for 3.35 a pullet plus the cost of shipping of $50. Yuck.
On the leghorn Facebook page, a show breeder sent me his link. He sends 12 hatching eggs for $35 plus $20 shipping.
I am just looking to get two pullets. So out of 12 eggs i hope to get a few more girls...

Eeek that is crazy expensive I hope you get some to hatch! I have terrible luck with shipped eggs, but I bet your brinsea will do a better job. Sending good hatching vibes your way!

I am having problems with birds getting into my coop and eating all the chicken feed. I usually just have the door open all the time so that the chickens can get feed and water anytime, but that's how the birds are getting in. Does anybody have suggestions to a way to keep the birds out and allow the chickens to go in anytime?
