Utah!

Yes Lisa, I have been on the hatch a long, but not as much this yr. I did just post a photo of my cutie that hatched last night from Brians eggs. Just had another hatch, still wet. Will have to post photos here and on fb..when they are all hatched, I have one in there that is pipped and working on zipping right now. I went to check on it a while ago, have been looking into that bator all morning, ;) but the one that was only pipped, never saw it zip..was hatched! Why can't they all go like that? Here is my cutie for nowl

Check out the nice bow tie, muff, feathered feet, and has nice toes to boot!

By Brahma finally laid today!!!! I am sure since I caught her in the egg box and checked under her, no egg. I stayed around for a bit checking on a situation with my Reds so, when she went to leave the egg box I looked and sure enough a still wet egg!! I am also excited that it is a much darker red/brown color than my production Reds lay so I will be able to tell them apart. The girls are all getting back to laying just in time for us to have deviled eggs for Christmas dinner. Every other hen laid yesterday and she decided to contribute today, which is good or she may have been standing in for the Christmas goose

yay so happy for you! about time the little stinker lol. but better late than never i guess

Yes I was expecting a later lay but 9 1/2 mos was pushing my patience haha. She did it like a pro though, I am not even sure she had any roost eggs as none have been under there in a couple weeks. Now to see if any of the other hens are going to be serious about being broody, maybe I will let someone hatch a few Brahmas if it gets closer to spring.
