Utah!

I can't even imagine having 12! The two I have are enough. I am constantly changing the bedding and filling water. They are too funny though. They aren't much for being handled, but the second they see a banana, you have best friends

They are pretty quiet, but I can tell when they have made too big of a mess because one turns into an alarm to alert me he needs bedding change or wants a bath. I can't even wash my hands or do dishes without his little alarm sounding that he wants a swim haha. I just got them a kiddie pool, so as soon as this rain stops they can go outside and make a mess and quit messing up the house

Pic's! its time for pics ;-)

Mine still don't care for bananas, but they will climb up my body for peas. Also, tomatoes were a big hit last fall. They would not eat them when they were little but by the time fall came they were pillaging my plants. It looked like a bloody battle in my yard. They get food all over themselves and each other, then head to the pond to clean up then repeat the process as often as possible. funny ducks.

Taking a break from the chicken FB pages today. I have to say that I love the "all posts welcome" atmosphere I find on here :D I love my chicken friends but some lately seem to be forgetting their manners.

I hope everyone is having a good Spring! It has been chilly up this way, but at least the sun is going to peep through some the next few days. Lots of chicks hatching around here. I got 54 last week, best hatch so far, some have been terrible! Almost 500 sold so far, I am on Hatch #16. If anybody is looking for OE up in the direction of Logan, I have gotten through most of the waiting list this coming weekend and will have some publicly for sale in May for sure ;D

@Frmboyinthecity--
Clint, I can drive your rooster to Idaho to help out if you want! I will leave about 8 am, I mentioned it to Darren it sounds like it could work for me to take it to him at Chickenstock if you could get the roo to me.

@sundancenbare
I will get back to you shortly on my showgirl availability. I need to look through what I have left for sale :D SBEL's have started being fertile, there will be some chicks for you in the coming weeks, you will get the first ones available you've been at the top of the list since I decided to start the project. I can bring them down to SLC to you at some point :D I would love to catch up and see how your winter was in AZ.

@cynthia12
what are you hatching? Anything I might like :p I feel like I am long overdue for seeing you too, Missy.

If anybody has a nice Splash Silkie Roo I am looking for one unrelated to my flock.

Thanks for your willingness to take him up. He thanks you too, as the alternative wasn't something he was going to like.

I may be interested in some OE chicks in a couple weeks. I've got 5 2-week old chicks in one pen, 15 ameraucana supposed to arrive tomorrow, and eggs in the incubator. After reading that, I don't need chicks, I need a 12 step program...

Just complaining about the rain:) I've done all the building I can without taking the old roof off the run and I just know as soon as I take it off it will start raining. Sigh.

On the positive side, all the rain makes it super easy to pull weeds.
