Utah!

Cynthia, I have a broody I separated today intending to put chicks under tonight. Only two hatched. I don't want to tend only two!

Lisa, you have a beautiful flock and beautiful eggs!! Love the one you got from Cynthia - it looks like a sheep dog chicken! Do you have any fertile eggs?

Ann-I believe a few of those blue eggs are from a black Ameraucana I got from you a couple years back before you moved. :D Yes I have fertile eggs. But with this heat, I am getting more and more clears, my roosters might be slacking. There are Blue Copper Marans (that carton in the pic I just sent to Aaron Stewart to set this week they will yield blue black and splash) Olive eggers (f-1/F-2), SBEL, then the eggs from the Showgirl/Silkie/Frizzle project. Fun. Over 800 chicks hatched this year, I just set some yesterday, then another batch next week then hopefully done for the year. Hopefully. I have pine-shavings-in-the-water-phobia.

Oh my goodness Lisa!  You have some cool breeds!   And all of those eggs..I'm sorry, going to do a little laugh here.  :gig    Man, if I had the room back there, I would be hatching more too.

And those dark eggs!  Nice.   :)   And those blue eggs!  Nice nice!!   lol...love the blues.

Here is Sylvia's dad from you. He is still amazing and yes makes such furry babies.

I have 7 babies under Uggums now. That will be enough for her.

Here's a photo of her after I dropped 5 more to her two that she had last night. She fluffed up and started clucking away.

I would but hubby said if I brought any more chickens home then one of the others has to go into cold storage. They aren't even laying eggs yet. Sorry.
