Utah!

By the way... What are the current laws regarding roos in SLC? My youngest (by 4 months) "girl" crowed today.

It happens to be my most tame one, so I don't want to have to re-home it.

That's a bummer.

What breed is it?

White Crested Black Polish

Well, if you have to re-home him, let me know. We might be able to take him. Based on the number of roosters I hear everyday, I think we live in a rooster friendly neighborhood.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

I'd hate for him to end up someone's dinner, since he is such a tame little sweetheart.

I know you said earlier that you didn't want to re-home him, so I'll let you think about it. We don't need a rooster, but like you said, I'd hate to see such a sweet guy on a dinner plate. After you've given it some thought, let me know. If you do decide he needs a new home, if possible, we'd like to see a picture of him. I'm also curious as to the special needs of polish chickens. Do they need a special waterer?

Just let me know either way. He sounds like a beautiful and sweet bird and the ladies probably wouldn't mind a protector around.
