Utah!

Still no Broody hens? I'll take any broodies you don't want. I'm located in Orem. Email me at [email protected] if you have any

I ~may~ actually take you up on that deal. What part of town do you live in? I really thought they would go quicker on KSL, but I've had 60 lookers, and nary a call.
I've got 3 1/2 more dozen eggs coming on Friday, so I need to get rid of these chicks (hopefully) before then.
(All of the new eggs/chicks are already spoken for, so I won't have this problem again)

Sadly, at even $1 they are snake bait.

You could sneak one in with each new batch you sell. Just tell them it grew reaallly fast!

K, I hv a video of Betsy asking to be let in the back door, but it is 3gp. Anyone know how to upload or convert?

OK, here's Bets at the back door. Sorry but it's off my phone and you'll have to turn your head sideways or rotate if it gives you that option.... and it's blurry. So yeah, lousy vid but you get the idea!

Shouldn't hv mentioned to the daughter -- she wants them. However, I have to run it by the husband... he's the coop builder and very tired.

I'm pretty sure that Cal-Ranch and IFA sell only pullets. So, mixing them up probably wouldn't matter.

And, they all buy from a hatchery and resell them. The Hatchery does the sexing before they're sent. So it would be the hatchery's fault where they order them, not the feed store.

Marty

Yeah...we are aware of that, we are all thinking they are buying straight runs and selling them as pullets, due to the # of Roos everyone is getting. Sexing is never 100% guaranteed, we know that there is 5-10% of sexed pullets that are actually boys. But Feed stores are NOT chicken profesionals and it is VERY easy for them to mix the similar colored chicks up, accidently put the straight runs out labeled as pullets. They just need smarter people who work there!
