I like the sand too. I go to Home Depot..in Provo. My husband and I were just talking about getting some more..the play ground sand, not the smallest sand, but the next step up..we were thinking it was close to $3.00. I just buy a couple of bags here and there, but, you are probably one of those lucky people that has this huge piece of property, and a nice big coop. I have a backyard thing going on, but I can't complain about the coop my hubby built for me. I can house 8 birds easy. Right now they are mostly pullets, with me just a waitin on them to start laying. I have a black sex link that I think will start this month. She's had a black comb all along, just figured that's what it would be, but it is starting to look a bit pink, plus, I'm seeing black feathers in the nest boxes. I think she's checking them out.
