Any UTs want a Swedish Flower Hen cockerel or two? I'm also getting some chicks from Sandhill next week. I ordered a few for myself and will have straight run standard sized assortments for $1.50 each. I'll be vaccinating all for Marek's unless someone requests otherwise.

Ok! Got my computer back together and running, so chickenundercover, here's a picture of my mom's little BSL for you to see her coloration:
She's already starting into the awkward teen stage, and she was a bit bald to begin with, but there you go. Black on black on black. Not a pinch of white fuzz to be found anywhere on her. You picked up one that had some white on it's face, or was it the wings?
And Hector, I got pictures of my two girls I got from you!
Look how big they've gotten! Nina is on the left, and Ellie is on the right. They're never very far from each other. I love my girls.

Red--cute girls! Love the names. That EE has pretty feathers on the back too, almost BR type stripes--very unique and pretty!

And, we always worry about our neighbors tree across the street..a huge pine tree. That thing already leans big time. When the wind whips up like this, we stand at our front window and watch in amazement. Not sure how that tree has stayed up all these years..it looks like it bends over from about the 4th of the way from the top down. We had a big pine tree go down last year, just down the block from us. My hubby and several other neighbors were out there helping cut it up and clean it up out of the street, where it fell. They were just thankful it didn't fall on their house! It was right by the house, and so is this big one across the street, only it is leaning towards their driveway and street.

Winds blowing here big time again and the rain has started. Opened the coop so the girls could get out at 7 and it was calm and dry. I just hope the girls have brain to go back in coop if they need and not just huddle under it. They are getting better about it when I go out to in evening. Hope fully soon for them to make their own way back in.

I was outside getting my neighbor's dogs in. Her chickens were smart enough to be inside, but not mine. Awesome.
