I still think the BO looks like a girl..

A yellow comb, remember they have big combs. And the pencil looks like a girl. I'm pretty sure on that one. She looks good! Can't see where she was picked on from the side..

Oh dear, I didn't see that you lost Hector's girls! I missed that post..sorry!

Or, I may have already done the hugging, and just forgot..lol...well, I have some Silkies that are due to start pipping any time..due to hatch tomorrow. I have more BBS Ameraucanas in, one more box of eggs of those, then I'm done for the summer. Want to clean that room up, and maybe start again in the fall..late fall. I have some Pure Araucanas in lock down as well right now, with some Wheaten Ameruacanas. I'm excited for those. I am hoping for a double tufted rumples again. I sold the other one. I didn't think I really wanted any, until I saw how darling they are..well, kind of on the funny side, but that's what's cute about them..different. I want the Wheatens because they lay nice colored eggs. Oh, almost forgot, I have some Exchequer leghorns in too, only 5 eggs, I started with 8, so not too bad. They were all showing great movement when I put them in lock down with my Aruacanas, and Wheatens.

Thank you Cynthia. You did give me an e-hug before, but I still appreciate it very much. Wow, sounds like you'll be finishing up for the season with some beautiful babies! Let me know when you get to selling some of those, would you? I would love to get one or two from you, particularly if there are any you think are girls

Those leghorns have me drooling, so do the Ameraucanas, but I'm not picky on the breed!

i do too now. i feel a lot better about them. i just worry a lot. they are the sweetest girls and i love how well you socialized them! sorry the pictures are not the best, they were taken by my phone and well chickens move a lot lol

Hot dang, my juvenile Cream Legbars arrived this morning and they are BEAUTIFUL! They are 5-6 weeks old, looking healthy and happy. The post office was hilarious when they called me--said I had some kind of animal there in a box and said it sounded like it was pecking or tapping or something. They guy seemed to have no clue what it could be.

Now I am just waiting for them to call to tell me my Isbar chicks are here. I'm lighting incense and candles and bowing to the Great Chicken in the hopes that they arrive safely. :bow

I'm am ridiculously overrun with chicks. Can hardly wait until the new coop goes up in Duchesne so I can get finish out the run there and get some of these birds up there! Did I mention I have eggs in lockdown as well?  Told you this Sportsman was going to lead to trouble!

Your Sportsman reminds me of those big vertical ovens they bake bread in at The Subway sandwich place lol. It is "THE BIG GUNS" hahaha! When you showed it to me I was thinking you were in trouble too :p You had more chicks at your place than they had at the Cal ranch that day. I think it is hilarious, and fun, and wonderful!!

corvidae - Yaaaaaay! You know what this means, right? Pictures! :) ;)

Alright, I have a question. Who here is hatching eggs soon that might be selling? I know, I know, I'm a monster! I wouldn't blame anyone for refusing to sell their babies to me, considering my recent track record, but I really want to have some babies that I got from friends on the forums. I feel so awful about losing the two I got from Hector. They were such good girls and so fun to be around.

Cynthia, how are things going for you on the home front? Everything good?

I will sell you any of mine if you want them :) Depending on what hatches, who knows. Blue Wyandottes this weekend, and next week, then BLRW on 4/21-22, then my assortment of Wheaten Am, FCBM, and Blue orps around 4.26 ish. I will post pics here then you can decide :) I am going to keep 1 marans and 1 wheaten am. out of all of them but that is it. The blue orps are AMAZING but I have lots of blue so not planning on keeping those. Not sure how many eggs of each yet, they are on their way, should be here tomorrow. Also have a 8 week old EE that is a boy that anyone can have if they want him. He came from a pretty blue egg. One of those fluffy faced from Cynthia....body mostly white, head black/white speckled. Really cute, will get a pic up. His name is Ralph haha :p

here is some pictures of the two young girls. silver has healed well as you can see. blondie actually looks more like a girl in better light, she looked like she had more red wattles but in better light she looks like a she
