Utah!

Voted, Cynthia. You're now tied.

I was a far distant second- the winner had double the votes I did. I was disappointed; I would've loved to get those hatching eggs. Oh well. :)
Oh, I didn't see who won, I was sure you would get it! Darn!

Phoenix, for real>? that is way funny :gig

You know they are yours if you want them!

Question: What do you guys clean your incubator out with? I want to get the hatching bator cleaned out for my next eggs....it smells kinda funky....I have used soap and water but feel like I should use disinfectant to make it smell clean but do not want to take a chance it would make future chicks sick.

I've heard vinegar is good.

I wash the base parts of mine in warm, soapy water (I use antibacterial palmolive), and so far, it's done the trick.

I use bleach water..half and half. Have a special bottle for it. I squirt all the bottom down, then the wire. I rinse with really hot water, then really cold water to make sure all of the bleach smell is gone. I only use very little bleach on a paper towel to wipe down the top. I wipe the heating elements gently. Wipe the inside of the windows too.
Time to set some more eggs is it? :))
