Utah!

Awww corvidae, I hope it's not pullorum. If that seller is still ignoring you, I'd go with the advice of others on here and leave the negative feedback. It's not to be mean, but to warn others of the potential hazard of getting chicks from this guy. Even if I thought someone's feedback was scathing, I'd still appreciate it if they took the time to clearly explain why they were so unhappy with the seller/service. It's a cruddy thing to have to do, I know. It makes me feel bad that you've had to go through all of this. I wish I had some spare chicks to give you after this is all over. I'm sorry.

And also, thank you for being honest and holding on to those babies instead of selling them off to try and get rid of the problem or something. Much as I like the idea of getting that little Marans from you, I shudder to think what would have happened to my girls if they'd been exposed to something.

Picture overload!! Just for fun!!
She just keeps getting prettier Pencil Laced Rock
My lavender girl and Speckled Sussex..they hang together, along with the NH, but the NH is off on her own a lot
Here they are together again~that's the NH on the left..big girl already, wondering if she is the one that laid the shell less egg the other day
My black EE, getting bigger, still no crowing, still no red in comb or wattles That makes me smile!
lavender..puffy cheeks!
pretty girl

Thanks for the pictures, Cynthia. Your girls are so pretty! I love that second shot with the SS. She just looks graceful to me.

Wow, serious? You think the NH is starting to lay already? How old is she?

Cynthia- your chickens are beautiful. I love the pencil and your lavender girl!
Corvidae- so so sorry about your little chicks. I would agree with everyone else about leaving feedback. I really rely on others reviews.
La Casa De Pollo- cute baby chicks! I wish I would have had your luck!

I've been crazy busy and haven't posted about my hatch. I was only able to hatch one chick. Not sure what went wrong with my first time hatch. I should have trusted in my broody hens more I think than the incubator. I now have a better incubator though so I sent for more eggs. Maybe this time I'll get more chicks. I really hope so. I have 5 eggs under my silkie hens and 7 in the incubator. I hope luck is on my side this time. They are all silkie eggs again. Here is a picture of the little one. Any ideas what color she will be? I kind of think she looks like yours Cynthia.

Thanks guys :D I'm so happy. But it's kind of annoying now, They think I'm the momma and cry when I'm not with them

My dad is gone and I use his phone to take pictures so I haven't gotten fluffy pictures. But I managed to send one to my email last night of the last duckling that hatched. He's the only blue swedish. The others are ALL black swedish :( He's really cute but he's the runt and is really small :/

Cynthia--Have you heard of Mille Fleur Leghorns? I was looking through Sand-Hill Preservation Center's poultry catalog and they sell Mille Fleur Leghorns and SOO many pretty colored and neat chickens. Tons of colors of Dorkings, there's lots of Rocks, Bantams and what I'm getting Frizzled Black Sumatra

Duckling! The last and only little blue one. The only picture I could take and send before my dad left last night :D I promise more when he gets back though.

OOh, you have Silkies. I am falling in love with Silkies. Do they go broody lots and lots like I've heard? I just love the mom and baby chick pictures. The are pretty. That baby does look like mine. Mine is a splash, pretty sure..here is a pic or two of the dark coming in the wing..plus, someone said on the Silkie thread, that if it was going to be white, the wings would be white, but they are not, they are blue, with darker feathers in them..now, just be a girl! :)
See the darker feather on the top one, you can't see too well, but there are others, just not as long.
See? Blue feathering. I am thinking when I see pretty black ones like yours, I just may want a black. I know I can't see much there, but yours seems to be more black black than most I see. Others I've seen seem to be a light black. I like the true black. Is that a partridge? Pretty!

Pretty cute! And, yes, I've seen the Millie leghorn Pictures..I don't care for those too much. I probably should get some pictures of my three little, and I mean little, Exchequers'. They are small. What is that blue duck? I see some adorable duck feet back there!
