Utah!

No just trying to figure out how to get him up here. I don't get down that way. And with all the people I see on here going different directions wondered if he could catch a ride. Just one of those unthought out idea that popped into my head.

Hey Donna. My curiosity got the best of me and I candled my BLRW eggs from you. ALL SEVEN are looking good!! I candled them for the teachers after school, and they were so excited to see them actually wiggling around in there.

I have had good luck on those too. Only 1 clear/unfertile from 11, and the remaining ten go into lockdown tonight....all moving and alive so far. So Donna you have good luck when it is your own eggs! It is just those raunchy other breeders.....they need to read a page out of your breeder book :)

You have gotten the bug under control I hope!

Phoenix, I'm in West Valley. If you want, we could arrange a halfway meeting kind of thing. I would bring him up to you, but I'm low on gas and cash right now, so halfway is the best I can do. Let me know?

Anyone want to bump my gender thread for me again? I haven't gotten a clear call one way or the other except on the BR.

And I have a question about this girl. She keeps puffing her feathers out, she's the only one. She seems to be eating and drinking normally, still skittish when I go out to the coop, etc. Maybe she's just cold?

Does she seem to be breathing hard, heaving-like? If not I would not worry. If so she may have respiratory bug

I think your other chickens besides the BR just need a little more time to be sure. That Wels #2 looks really iffy, but it is still early enough it could go either way, so I would def not do anything with it until you have a few more weeks to see what happens. I have had one that everybody thought was a boy (My GSL) and it laid an egg while we were still waiting it out at 17 weeks. She just matured early and had a huge comb. I would have been so sad had I rehomed her too early. Her eggs were amazing. Some just take their sweet time letting you know :/ :/

Kimmy, my little GLW does the same thing. I figure it's because she's just a little chilly sometimes. She seems happy and healthy otherwise and I even checked her for bugs yesterday with no bad results.
