It makes me wonder how many people have heart stuff that's going on and just don't realize it? I have a heart murmur, I think. It does the thing where sometimes my heart rate speeds up or slows down for no good reason, and sometimes it skips a beat altogether. Fun stuff, eh?

Alright, how many of you took bets on whether or not I'm going to cave and get some Icees from Birdguy? I want to know

My grandma (Mom's mom) had heart problems for YEARS. They tested her every which way they could, and never figured out what caused her heart issues. It ultimately killed her at just 65. USU did some testing on her, and after she passed away, wanted to test all 3 of her daughters. So my mom and Aunts all go in to USU about every 5 years and have all kinds of tests done. Mom has to take a baby aspirin and a high BP pill every day now. I started having health problems 2 years ago that caused my heart to start pounding super hard, and it didn't matter if I was sitting still watching TV or shopping or walking the dog or whatever...and it HURT! Afterwards, it would feel like an elephant was sitting on my chest. They never figured out what was wrong with me, but I started using doTerra essential oils and haven't had a problem since. Huh.

To keep this post chicken related.... I think you'll cave and get 3 Icees!

Just wanted to say Hi...I am Slvrphoenix's wife Cindy. Thought I better join so I could keep up on what I was missing.

Hi, Cindy!

This forum moves along pretty dang quick....you're gone for half the day and you're 30 posts behind! Great group of people here as I have quickly learned. I'm pretty new myself. :) I'm Sasha and I live in Hyrum, just outside of Logan, so not too far from you.

Oh hey Cynthia I was going to mention this....I sold all the chicks I have now and are hatching this week, whatever hatches----to your guy from Gunnison. Silly huh! He is looking at the chickenstock thread to see if he wants me to bring anything back too, so funny. Seriously, nice guy, hope he gets on here and says hi while he is at it

Oooooh, Lisa! My husband mentioned to me tonight that maybe I could go pick up the goats on Monday instead of Saturday (the 5th) so that I could go to chickenstock! If Becky (the goat breeder) says it's OK, would you have a seat available for a tag-a-long? I'll pay for half the gas!

Sasha---Cindy is in on the Wheatens from Montana :) Fun huh! Our girls will be sisters.

This reminds me Cindy, Rockstar stuck his/her head in the red paint from the run so now he has a red mohawk. It is pretty funny, it looked crazy enough before....now....it is ridiculous. I will have to post some pics tomorrow. My polish Frisco also has a completely red hairdo. Hers looks horrific, like she is injured because her crest is white. But it is kind of ridiculously funny at the same time. So when yours and mine stand together staring at each other's heads like "Dude! You look ridiculous what is that on your head!!" It is really pretty funny :D

Edit--just saw your post. I would LOVE the company. My son may come, not sure. But he can talk chicken all day long too so we will be in good company :) sounds fun to me!

Totally fun! I'm psyched!
If you would rather have some mother/son time, I totally understand. Just let me know either way and I won't be offended, promise! :)

Sasha... I have two little nubian bucklings available as well... very cute.. Want to take one of them home too? I've found goat math is almost as bad as chicken math

We were only going to have 3 but plans are for 6 keepers now...

I can't remember who asked on the Icees... they are straight run and a guess just like most breeds that young... I would just pick out 4 or 5 different ones.. LOL

I love Nubians! However, we will have reached our animal limit by the time I get the last few chickens I want....but really, truly, is the city going to come and count every chicken I have? Pretty sure our neighbors with the 30 head of cattle on 2 acres is WELL over their limit, and nobody has said anything to them. But...my husband is a very straight arrow, so....I'll have to pass, for now.

Oh no we are getting plenty of that lol. And he may not come, it depends on soccer. The main reason he was thinking of coming was to say hi to his big bro---he lives there in Id Falls.... works Saturday but was going to try to run over there for a quick hug on his little brother on his lunch break. They might even take off to go back to his work for a bit. I want to stand in awe of the chickens. Or my little one might do the poultry class, he has thought about doing the fair.
