Utah!

Oh Cynthia, :( I completely forgot, My BLRW, my Australorp AND my Araucana were all roosters :he I didn't want to get more attached so I sold them to a woman from church...I always get awesome breeds and then they turn out to be roosters :rant

I hope...we moved her cage out to the coop last night. She is very quiet all day...at bed time she is one loud chick. I like her, she better not be a rooster.

And just cause he is super cute...
There's my splash! I mean, your splash! I sure thought it was a she when it started feathering out. That is going to be one pretty bird!!
And, have to say that I am so happy to see it is taken care of..nice clean cage.. makes me smile. :))

Hello everyone! I am a first time poster on this site and I am hoping for some help. I am looking to add a few more hens to my flock. I started small with an Australorp and easter egger. They are eighteen months old and I love them!! I am looking for some hens between 10 to 12 weeks old.
I would like 2 Rhode Island reds, another Australorp or Austrwhite, and another easter egger. Anyone have any girls for sale please let me know. Thanks!

Where are you located? I'm in Spanish Fork. I have a RIR that I need to place..she is around two months old. She is lonely. The others have their own flock, and she only goes around them during snack time, and roost time.

Just saw on another post, you are in West Jordan..I have a daughter up there. She could pick up this girl if you want. :p

Best add this...

Cynthia,

Thank you for the reply, are you sure she is a she, and has she received any vaccinated? Eight weeks is still young for what I want.
The little are so fragile.

She is a she. I caved one day while in the IFA store down here. I can get a picture, she may be older..she is getting big, and starting to get that hen look. Pretty red too for a hatchery bird.

Any kids yet, Blujems?

I am sorry to say that was one of the worst kiddings I have had. There were 5, All boys, very tangled up...I managed to save 2 but one is having problems and I am not sure he will make it. We had to put down the mom. I spent most of the afternoon crying, she was one of the favorites. I will get pics of the 2 little ones soon....Got to make sure all the babies eat.
Thanks

blujems your post made me so sad for you and your sweet goat. That just breaks my heart to hear that. So hard losing animals. I'm really sorry to hear that news. I was so looking forward to hearing about how many she would have because in your picture she was just sooooo big. Poor thing and you have got to be exhausted. Big hugs and I'm hoping the other little one makes it.
