Sure, if it's not too much trouble, I'd love to see his sisters. I figured that his comb and wattles were way too pronounced to be a girl, but I kept thinking, "Well, leghorns have big wattles, right? What did she say he was crossed with? RIR?"

Red----Boy I think. That butt...that stance...that comb oh my. I did have a GSL hen with a comb like that though....

Sasha---scared to candle these again. Think I will wait and cross fingers. Had to take one out this morning, it was oozing, not good....it had a hairline crack along a soiled part....followed right along, like it ate through the shell. Never seen that....it was a weird air cell egg, so the four that had good cells are still there. Whew! And it is good to see a space! No worries Were they moving at all?

Speaking of newbies on here----where did UtahChickenDad and UtahchickenMom go? If you guys are lurking, I would love to hear how it is going with those cute chicks....they are probably huge now. Are they all girls? I was really wanted to se the EE's when they got big, I remember one was very cool looking

Red, when I asked the egg seller about them, she pretty much maintained that they were purebred GLW. I did ask what other breeds were around, and she said rhode island red and cochins. My one hen definitely looks like RIR (well, more like a production red, but same basic thing, right?). So, I think the chickens are RIR/GLW crosses.

Glad you like my new profile picture. It amused me. That's my BCM rooster's head on the Sphinx's body. I thought it was appropriate, with a dash of disturbing. LOL

Looky what I just ordered..I'm so tired of the styro foams..I was just talking with a nice gal on here that is willing to replace more eggs, because I had to chuck most of the eggs now. Well I am still waiting for babies.

So I Went out and tried to put the little chick in the run with the daughters old english and the seabrights...She was having none of it...Then the seabright rooster ran over and attacked while I was still holding her.

She ran up and hid on my neck in my hair...Why do they not like her?

Oh well, she likes me.

Mine works about half the time---I click on the "see this post" button. I have tried to get on two times and it said the page was unavailable due to high traffic the website was uncapable of hosting.....Hmmmmmm.....we are overthrowing the BYC lol They better catch up with us!

I hope...we moved her cage out to the coop last night. She is very quiet all day...at bed time she is one loud chick. I like her, she better not be a rooster.

And just cause he is super cute...
