Utah!

Oh, man!  I think you have pretty smiles in these pictures, I'm the one that looks like a maniac!  LOL
Our new Ameraucanas are so pretty, but I'm just floored about your one girl's feet. :/

Howard said "We've got all the chickens we're going to get for this year.  Mmmm, maybe.  LOL  If you hatch a wheaten or blue wheaten splash that is as pretty as Slvrphoenix/Blujems, I'm gonna be first in line if you want to sell.  :D

Gonna go upload some pics in a few minutes.  I've been super busy today, after taking yesterday off.  When you have as many critters and projects as we do, it's never-ending.  :th

I cannot wait to see what I get from these! It will be fun to see if there are some different colors. Will likely sell nearly all if not all---so you are first in line. And Cindy can def have whatever she wants as well. I have a feeling these won't be too hard to find homes for :)

I was really behind today too----it is amazing how much piles up if you go play for a day. I am just dealing with laundry, dishes, yardwork----cannot imagine throwing a remodel and more animals in the mix :) How do they make such a mess while we are gone????

I am finally getting some eggs from winning that contest for the Easter Hatch A Long. I was supposed to get 12 FBCM's eggs, but I saw that she had a blue Ameraucana over EE's for sale, shot a PM to her asking if I could get those instead. So, we deicided on 8 of the EE's, and 6 of the FBCM eggs.
She's sending them out tomorrow. Yaay.

That's going to be fun! Some of these eggs I brought home last night from SlvrPhoenix & Blujems are a pale, pastel green. Very pretty. I'm excited to see what hatches out!

Yes, I think they are going to be gorgeous.

It is amazing how quickly things get out of control at home when we wives are gone, isn't it? I still need to seal the new grout in the bathroom/entryway tonight so that Howard can put the new toilet in tomorrow. It's going to be another long night.

Whew! I am back from Moab, and what a weekend! I really needed to go and relax like that, though I'm sorry it left some people here hanging.

Lisa, Sasha, thank you so much for picking up and taking care of my babies for me! I am so excited to pick them up tomorrow.

Lisa sent me a picture of them and I showed it to my brother, who also thinks they are very cute (I'm slowly corrupting him, muahaha) Sasha, I will text you tomorrow and make more solid plans on where we're meeting, if that's okay? These two should be the last chicks I get for a while, since I'm already overrun with them. I just can't help myself sometimes. I love having chicks here with me and watching them grow. They make me feel so much better each day.

Lisa I hope you can fix your new girl's feet. She looks very pretty. I hope she isn't in pain, either! Poor baby.

Cynthia, WOW. You look very different as a long-haired blonde. Looks good! And your silkie is getting so cute. Oh man, I cannot believe how sweet his/her face is.

corvidae, congrats on winning those Orps! I have only ever seen one picture of the lemons, I think. It would be quite interesting to see what they are like!

I am so proud of my girls. All five of my teenagers are now officially bug eaters. They love worms best, and slugs are in second place. I will have to get some meal worms for them someday and see how they take them. My brother cooked up some rice for them tonight. Spoiled brats.

Ok, I'm very tired and my pillow is calling me, can you hear it? I guess I'll resume with normal life tomorrow. Hope everyone here is well. Until then, Zzzzzzz.......................

I was messaging with the girl with the FBCM. She says she thinks she will have some I could get from her in July. Started ones (8+ weeks old I think, she is hatching some this week) I mentioned I knew people looking for a pair for breeding, and asked for the price---will pm you to see if you are interested, I could bring them back for you. I am getting 2 girls I hope. I was pretty excited it could still work, she was really trying. Those are the crazy big dark eggs. They are a little pricey due to being grown out, but sure saves the headache of trying to guess.
Yes, as long as it is positively a hen and Rooster.
With my Maran Rooster being a hen and the new hen being a rooster I am a little disappointed in my latest additions.

I thought that marans "rooster" seemed awfully sweet and pretty. I bet she becomes a favorite, blujems.

Red, glad you had a good time in Moab.

Red..I had long blond hair for years! Clear up into my 40's, then decided that long blond hair, might not look so good on an older lady. Started cutting it a little at a time. Then I remember I was in Logan visiting my daughter there, and I said, I want to get my hair cut short short. My son was with me, my hubby home. I went to the salon she liked, and as my son stood there and watched, I got my hair cut soooo short...stick em up short. My poor little guy started to cry, and said, mom, have them put it back! Years ago evedintly. He's 18 now. Man, where does the time go?

Glad you had a good time in Moab. Everyone is going somewhere! I wanna go~! I just can't leave now..too many eggs to watch. lol...I really don't mind. Plus I have a new pup that I'm training, he's doing really well. This dog luvzz me. :) Great lap dog. He just wishes I was sitting more often. Have to watch out when we do sit down somewhere there is a blanket, that we don't sit on him. He loves to burrow.

Shinx. How are those babies doing? Were you keeping any of those..sorry, can't remember?

Lisa..did you tape some toes? Is that baby walking better maybe? It's hard to straighten them out once they get a certain age. I think I told you, I had an EE, oh boy, those toes had to be just about as bad as your baby's. But, that chicken walked around just fine, nothing wrong with the hip joints/tendons, just way crooked toes. She sure gave beautiful eggs! Was a sweetheart too.
