I cannot believe how dark those eggs are! That one on the bottom left looks more like a Marans egg.....crazy! Hey Cynthia, I can see the math in your head already figuring out how to make room for one or two of those girls.....we are like junkies, no? The beautiful eggs make me crazy! Very cool, Are you going to paint it red again?

I thought about it, but it is just so cool and vintage looking I might leave it, can't decide. The Handle has a little metal hand protector, it is just really nifty, what a fun treat!

Ooooh, Cynthia, those are beautiful!!! I have one darkish egg (but not that dark) in my incubator that is possibly a welsummer mix. I forgot to take pictures of my eggs this morning while I was at the school. Maybe I'll do that this afternoon.

Lisa, Shinx, those are nice baskets. I'm only needing my hand right now..only getting two eggs..waiting on Maggy, she is the NH..and getting pinker. Guess who's finally getting pink too? My black EE I couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl. It's a girl. Awww, maybe she will give me a pretty green egg. I wondered if she would ever turn pink, but it's starting to.

Blu, I use my hand to gather eggs, since lately there's only ever one in the nest box, if any. Sometimes, when there are more than I can carry in my hands, I use my shirt, woo! But it's been a while since I've had to resort to that.
