I buy Nature's Best Organic at the IFA in Salt Lake.. It's the only place I've found organic so far and it's majorly pricey (about $32 per 50 lb bag!), but since my middle son seems to be sensitive to half the dang foods out there, it's worth it for me to make sure the chickens who make the eggs aren't eating some of the stuff he's sensitive to. That, and I strongly object to GMO foods. Feeding the chicks and laying birds this way is actually cheaper then buying organic eggs at Whole Foods. There are a couple of cleaner organic feeds one can order on line, but they are actually even more expensive.A couple of questions, where do you get your feed in Utah? I've been using IFA brand and I'm wondering if there are better quality and/or organic options locally?
Another question, do you clip wings? If so do you do 1 or both? Our Welsummer keeps getting out of the run, which isn't a huge deal now but will be later when the garden is really going.

And yes, the whole thing is a serious pet peeve of mine. I shall cease my babbling before I devolve into a flat-out rant!
