I would totally be in, except that I just posted a picture with two of my confirmed roosters. I'm pretty sure Lisa would figure out I was in on the plot and revenge would be awful.

I candled my school eggs today. 3 of the 4 sussex eggs were officially a bust. They were clear at 7 days along, but I gave them a couple more days, just in case I was wrong.

I have one coronation sussex still wiggling, my brown egg wiggling, my blue egg wiggling. That olive egg is sooooooo dark that I can barely see the air sac, so I have no idea if it's good or not.

Considering that Lisa knows what our roosters look like...I think she would know where they came from...who hasn't seen them yet? There has to be someone that needs some roosters. LOL

I need to candle my eggs, they have been in a week now. I will have Mike help tonight, I am afraid I will drop them if I do it.
This storm has me quite clumsy and dizzy.

On other news I love letting my chickens out in the run in the morning, they all run and flap their wings like they have been locked up forever. It is very entertaining.

Whoa how about that thunder huh! My preschool kids are going nuts. One poor little guy is such a mess right now, terrified of the big booms in the sky.
My dog is hiding under the bed....chickens safe for now lol

Thanks Cindy! That baby is so fun. Her Daddy is so cute with her too, love watching him gaze upon her little face.
Good luck on your eggs! I had an early one hatch, the rest are taking their sweet time. I for one do not need roosters. Is the verdict in on your little splash from Cynthia's? Is it red yet?

I just heard thunder out there, but it's far off. It's been windy an cloudy, was going to put my baby Silkies out, but guess I will wait. I think it will still warm up today out this way. We always get wind here though. We live right down from a canyon. Windy in the mornings, or extra windy during a storm. Don't mind the wind in the summer. Winter is awful though.
Lisa, have you been snuggling a baby? Lots? Lucky you..a newborn. I miss that. Need to have a talk with a couple of my kids.

Okay.. I bought our chicks from IFA..

IFA claims that all of them are pullets.. how can i check to be sure.. I think i have a rooster in the mix.
