I suppose since both the parental figures have posted on this thread I should too? I won't bother reading through everything-that makes my head hurt just thinking about all 600 and some pages worth of thread.

I also notice that most talk around here is going to the Chickens... so here's some love for any duck fans on here.

Our power went out at 11:05. Came back on finally at 4:25. Did I stress. Not like in the past. I had a nice cord for the New bator, got those out to the truck.
Thought I had a cord for another bator, but didn't. I stuck all of the other eggs in the same bator, took them to our car, and had them sit in the sun..put a towel over it..but even though the digital read out said 100 towards the end..those eggs still felt cool. And, I had two new silkie eggs in there. I should have put them in with the others in the new bator.
So, my nice Welsummer eggs, my icelandics, and some Exchequers that are to go into lock down, tomorrow, and some on Wed. Plus, the ones that I won from the hatch a long. Hoping these were developed enough to make it through not enough heat.
Will candle tonight.
I'm thinking this will make the news. It was almost all of Spanish Fork, and into Salem. The north end of town had power, and that was it.
We got messages on our cell phones, that they had decided to keep kids in school, and the buses would be picking them up.
Quite the day. Got warm in here! ha, maybe I should have kept the eggs in here ...lol., no, it was cooler in here than out there. Plus, I had put the young Silkies outside a few days ago, it's been warm enough. Thank goodness, looking at them, they were laying together, but not bunched up.

Lisa, cute babies! Great hatch. Wonder what will happen to mine now. lol..

So, we have a new egg, that is sort of not a new egg...and that would be Sasha's hubby?

Hector will love these! Have to ask where you are. He is looking for a mate for his boy. He is wanting the chickens..crazy duck! He lives in Orem.

I would help if I could! Sadly, right now I only have two boys and a female whom I'm keeping.

Does he only have the one duck? If you're not planning on keeping anymore than two you can have two males do fine together. (the lack of a female will reduce the arguing between the males) My two boys get along really well until I have my female with them. As long as I keep them apart, the boys love each other. If that's an option, I'm planning on selling both my boys. (I have one Ancona, and One Runner)

ETA: I'm in Hyrum BTW. Sasha T and Trex are my parents.

Geez you guys have the whole family on here lol! Is this Daughter #1 (S) or Daughter #2 (B)? You guys are too funny. I was thinking those ducks look like the kind Sasha has......duh I should have figured it out, I did not get the parental comment until now EDIT----I see now this is the older daughter from the comment on your siggie. I am getting sloooowwwww! haha! Glad to see you on here! Fun for the whole family!

Hey Donna! I sold the BLRW at record speed again, a guy called and wants more than I have left so I told him to look your ad up on ksl and see if you have any left. He wanted 3-6 I believe. I only had two left. Sheez it is funny how much faster those sell than the other breeds I have had. Those and the Blue orps were fun I had the ad on for an hour, sold all but two, now the last two cannot get sold because the last few calls have wanted 5 or so. I hope you have more for him. or can tell him when you are hatching next. I was not sure.

Moms all about her chickens, and she's sucked Dad into it too; but I think my duckies are the best of them all.

Ducks DO poop more....... They are pretty cute though. Your mom is smart, if she gets your Dad into the whole chicken thing then she can have more, and it always pays off to kiss up to the coop builder, he will add a couple more feet on the roost bar

Sorry, daughter number 2 for some reason decided to go with back yard herds since she doesn't have anything feathered. So I don't think we will get all of us on here together.
