Utah!

Hey there, I am still here. Got put on new meds that have me very dizzy and kind of out of it. Hopefully I will get used to it. So far it is helping with the pain though
Still have HenRee, hopefully someone takes her though. Still have the babies, but hoping they go soon. Nothing from the Ameraucana yet, I love watching her with the monster's old english chicks. She is kind of taking on the mom role. I will have to get some pics, it is very cute.

Hope the new regimen works! Glad you are not hurting as much. The Ameraucana is still a question mark eh? Well sure hoping it is a girl, that is what you paid for. If it turns out a boy I will let the seller know, she sold them as started pullets so that should be the deal :) She is beautiful. My eggs hatch this weekend with the same eggs.....hoping for some pretty girls in there. I have 12 still going, this is the best batch I have had yet as far as not having to throw many out. Lockdown tonight. Would love to get one colored like yours! That is good she is being sweet to the chicks. How are your eggs doing?

Mmhmm...as soon as I roast your duck.

If I can't sell him, that may be an option soon. I need room for my babies!!

Still have 10 in. I will candle them again soon to see how they are doing.

Now I am excited for yours to hatch, yay. Can't wait to see what you get.

I heard that there is something called the "Great American Chicken" at the Golden Spike events center on June 2nd. Is that a chicken show? Is anyone going?

I also saw on the internet that there is a "Utah Fancy Poultry Assoc." Do any of you belong to this organization? I belong to a volkswagen club and a mule club and they are both a lot of fun. I have met so many interesting people and have learned alot. I also think it is a lot easier to get to know people when you share a common interest. I was wondering if any of you thought the UFPA would be worth joining.

I have met a few people belonging to that (UFPA) in Logan. Have thought about it, but that is as far as I have gotten. I need to get more info and just dropped the ball, it has been busy with end of school, soccer, chicks, etc. Have not heard about this great american chicken, sounds fun!

I haven't gotten serious at all about showing chickens (or even having show quality stock), so I haven't joined anything. I'm toying with the idea though.

Congrats to your son, Cynthia!!!

Lisa, my firepit still has the grout haze on it, so it's not pretty yet. I also haven't finished hauling rocks over to the seating area. And, I have zombie hands because the black grout has stained my fingers. So, here's a quick picture I took. I will take another picture after I clean the haze off. Probably won't be til tomorrow though, I'm showing houses tonight, and don't want my hands getting any worse.

It's been a while since I have been on here and a lot has happened on this thread and in my life. Wow! I need to keep up.
Shpinx that fire pit is going to be so nice! Love the tile! Hey when are you eggs hatching? Mine are in lockdown. The 25th is hatch day. 5 in the incubator. They are little bantam Polish.
So we had a HOA meeting in my backyard and we showed all the homeowners our chickens and everyone was ok with it!!! I have been stressing for over a year. I am so very happy. I thought I was going to have to get rid of them.
In other news my daughter graduated last night. I'm like Cynthia she is my baby. A lot of emotions here. It's just a good thing I can keep my sweet little flock or I could get a tad lonely when she leaves for college.
SashaT I have gotten a kick out of reading your families posts. Very funny. I'm like Lisa my family thinks I've lost it in the head a little chatting with chicken people and of course loving chickens so much that I name them and put misters on for them when I think they are to hot, give them plates with veggies, watermelon and the list goes on.....

Jeez this sounds like my house lol. I was late to an appointment last week because I had not gotten my girls their oatmeal made and I was hurrying to do it first. I do this on Saturday mornings. My husband is like 'Sheesh!' Then I remembered I did not make breakfast for the family woops! lol poor guys. I kinda forgot
But my excuse is my girls give me eggs and my kids give me dirty laundry....so they better shape up :tongue
I looked at misters a few weeks ago, I am totally setting them up, so glad I am not the only one. Hey!! You are hatching bantam polish! T-REX do ya hear that? I love those. You selling any extras and where are you? Man I would love another little polish. We rehomed one because it was not the kind we thought we bought at IFA. My son wants a WCB like your avatar. We were going to stick to LF but the ones we got are looking like they are bantams so leaning that direction now. They sure are cute. :love I am so glad your HOA is ok with your chickens! yay! And congrats on graduation!
