@Lisa: Thanks again for the welcome, and you sure are right about this fowl err foul weather we've been having.
@Sphinx, Re:
@SashaT: I do indeed have 9 Welsh Ducklings, but they're only 3 weeks old. To be specific, we have 9 Welsh Females, 2 Cayuga of unknown sex (I think one male one female, but we'll see), a Golden 300 female, a chocolate runner female (TBD but she's a few months old and quacking), and 2 of an unknown breed, that we got from the feed store a few months back (one male, one female). I could be persuaded to add another runner to the flock, we're still looking to expand a little. We were looking into getting some muscovies, but I've been unsuccessful at finding any that require less than a 2 hour drive, lol. I have never seen an anconda IRL, but just looked them up. I think the Welsh's are very nice, and they sure have a nice temperament. Our runner is very flighty, but the Welsh's seem to be a lot less fearful of everything. I added a picture, hopefully it comes out.
@Sphinx, Re:
There are indeed some good tempered geese, but some breeds are more prone to good behavior than others, haha. American Buff's are more known to be even tempered, and quiet.Dave, I wasn't aware that there were nice tempered geese. Every one I've ever met has been mean. Welcome to BYC though!
