Hi guys, I just joined BYC and I'm in Utah too!![]()
Hiya !Welcome to the forums

Hello everyone! My DH and I are looking at possibly moving to Utah in about a year. We are currently looking at Sandy and Provo. I am having a hard time looking up chicken ordinances for those cities. We don't want to move somewhere where we can't bring the girls so...
Can anyone direct me to the proper website, or tell me, what the laws are regarding chickens, ducks, etc in those cities?
Sphinx is definitely one of the most knowledgeable people on this thread. She could tell you more than I could, but I do know that if you move to West Valley, you're technically not supposed to have chickens. Which, of course, is why I have......................uh...................oh say, how many do I have? One, two, three................18. But that number will be going down to 16 today

I spent the day at the vet. My girl had a csect and spay. 3 kittens all doing fine. I also had eggs hatching 6 so far 6 more pipped. Pretty excited. The big dark dark brown hasn't pipped yet waiting waiting. I have had some frizzle Americanas hatch, a Auracana hatch and olive eggers hatch, Hubby got excited and put out the out of the incubator into the brooder incubator as I have so many eggs I am moving them after they hatch and dry. I have color ziplocks I;m putting different colors for the breed. Hope it works. My new incubator seems to be doing a better job that the styrofoam.
Sundancen, I'm glad the kitties are okay, but sorry you had to spend all day at the vet. I'm excited for you and your hatching eggs! Hope that big brown one pulls through for you. Are you feeling any better, by the by?
So, on the whole pullet egg thing - I guess it wouldn't help if I were to mention that my BR laid perfect little pink eggs from day one, would it? Eh Lisa?
