Cindy, nice pics!!! I always drool when I see that BW Roo.....and the legs on that splash keep gettting longer and longer! Very cool looking. I could see in the background of your BW roo pics, the splash, looks so tall and long necked and long legged. You will have to get Mike on here with pics of the Phoenix's too, they are amazing, you guys have some really nice birds

Yes that spash has very long legs...Mike sold the phoenix and got pygmy goats. LOL I think he likes the ameraucanas better. I have lots of bunnies too...I really need to sell some.

YES I felt that earthquake, it was like a roll, my chandalier was moving.....eek! Hope there are no more to follow......my dog is now acting like a big baby.

Cynthia-I'm a bit concerned about your very pretty Ameraucana...it's looking like it has more color than it did last weekend. Oh, boy. Keeping my fingers crossed for a girl! She/he shouldn't have wattles, because of the beard. And I'm falling more and more in love with that Silkie of yours.

Oh my!!! You guys have some beautiful chickens! The roosters are so pretty. Dog gone em why do they have to crow!

I would take pictures of my girls but they look a mess right now. Rained yesterday and went all through the night and still rain today.

Such a nice cool down. I haven't had to run the misters and have even turned the air conditioner off.
So I have a question I have been noticing small little ants in my run all of a sudden. How do I get rid of them when they are around chickens? Would DE work on ants? My dingy chickens are just ignoring them. I would ignore them also if I new for sure they wouldn't start coming more in the direction of my house.

In other news I candled all four of your (birdguy) Icelandic eggs last night and 3 are fertile and growing. I couldn't tell on the Maran egg. It is way to dark. The others I have out under the little naughty broodies. They were mixes right birdguy? I haven't checked those yet. I will tonight.

auntie, you guys got rain..and you didn't send any up our way?? It has been cloudy all day, much better at 87 rather than the 101 we were yesterday.

Oh, blu, is that splash the one I gave to Lisa, then she gave it to someone else, now it is at your house? It is a boy ey? Looong legs..that boy isn't finished growing..going to be gorgeous when he's all filled out! He will make some pretty babies.

Gamebird those are very nice looking chickens. I am loving those Welsummer roosters. I would love to see pictures of some of your Welsummer and olive egger eggs.
