yeah red they sure were cute! so do any of you know much about the history of silkies? they are asian and their bones are used in medicine over there. i guess at one point they bred them to be extra broody because over there there is a popular dish that is very expensive that is eggs that are close to hatching taken and cooked up, so silkies are very useful because they are broody so much. its sad but it may help explain them a bit more to some of you
Poor little babies

I read recently that because the silkies bones and meat are black that they have a TON of antioxidents like other dark foods such as blueberries. Couldn't make me eat one though. Can't stand the thought of putting black meat into my mouth and besides, how do you eat something that looks like a muppet?
