Sundance, that is amazing you went to do that! Just out of the hospital....you need to put your feet up. Hope you had fun at least...it would be interesting to work with geese instead of chickens!

Anybody headed to Logan in the next few days? I will have 2 that need a ride to Sundance. They are bigger so I need to get them there pretty soon

What a day I had. DH and I helped round up geese. We wormed and banded the legs with colored tags so we know what sex. They are beautiful and I was happy to help, Pics to come tomorrow,

Ok so 2 SQ FBCM pullets for Sundance, 1 SQ FBCM pullet for Blujems. I am taking the two project Marans and one SQ FBCM pullet.
If anybody else wants something over there let me know. She answers PM's really fast so if you have questions you can do that and just let me know what you need me to pick up

SPHINX, I KNEW YOU WERE CAMPING! Jealous jealous jealous. We cancelled our plans, putting a roof on the new part of our run. WE did however get a fire pit started and sat outside so that helped a little. Just a little though.

You might as well pick the boss a breeding/show quality hen up if she has one she should of got a trio to began with. You dang enabler you

I will come get them if need be. I haven't told DH yet, Surprise. We are going to get a few dozen quail eggs and hatch them for him. Then turn them loosed in yard when they are older. Cal yanch has tiny coops for $200.00 perfect for quail and Duncle babies so I am going to go get one later today I also have to go to federal vet to get my cats papers stamped that is going to Honf Kong on Friday

Ok now to be serious. These geese really need our help. If anyone has a property that good take a couple adopt them. If not please donate to the cause. Even $5.00 will help. It adds up. These birds are beautiful and endangered and need your help. Janet has traveled to calif to get them she is providing care and homes. She just needs a bit of a boost from us. Remember even $5.00 from all of us will make a difference

I also went and visited my daughter last night. I took my grandsons two chicks. They have named them CHI CHI who is some sort of top hat chick it was a mystery egg I was sent . The other they named Gobble head she is a sizzle. Really cute kids and chicks but of course I am a bit prejudice. Kids are Phin and Thad

Sundance, LOVE the pictures. Your grandsons are indeed adorable. If you do head up to Logan, you should stop by my place and say hi. It's a nice rest stop between SL and Logan. We are going to be in Zion later this week though.


I have to admit that none of you thought my rooster camping story was as funny as I did.

I did think the camping story was funny and told my daughter about it. I want her to let the boys chickens live at her house instead of mine so I told her she could take them camping with her, She of course thought I was nuts

Happy to help. You did all the work, I just sat like the queen of sheba and poured Ivermectin down the throat. Then banded, No big deal. I had fun and thought it was funny the way we kept trying to band your blind goose as a male. Serves her right for biting me. I am sure they will all be ok and we will find good homes for them. As well as raise some funds. Remember even $5.00 helps. Looking forward to the horse ride
