Utah!

I don't know Cynthia, i am seeing green-ish......or at least trying to convince myself they are..... There is a guy in Logan with blue eggs, white ameraucanas so no shipping to worry about. If I do it I will likely get some from him. IF IF IF I said. :p I have been very good so far at resisting. I really do not want to wait for 3 weeks for chicks, I am in the mood to have some now, after my baby got killed, then another, and two roosters gone, I am feeling a little wiggle room in that coop so I may just wait to see what you decide to do and how it goes with your Polish babies :) They are irresistable! I have already got a couple that I have decided will get re-homed by winter. They are being a little naughty. I have one that is eating eggs, she will go pretty soon if she does not stop. Oh and I have a little expansion coop planned out already for DH to work on.....have not told him yet

Oh oh Lisa..that lol you put on there went into her pictures that she has up for sell for some reason, after the last picture. I'm not kidding here, maybe you can delete it, and it will go away?

I got a confusing email today about the polish. It said that they were shipped today. But, they had the 15th for shipment day. It said to give up to 3 days for them to get to me.
I am hoping they will ship out tonight..while it's cool..then only take one day, since they are only coming from Texas.

Eek I will try to fix it. Thanks for telling me!

Hope it does not take 3 days, too hot for that long of a trip in the mail w/o water!

Glad you noticed. That is what I get for goofing around on her page. Better keep it here in the family ;)

Off to bed! Sleep tight chicken friends

Okay, so unless I have pebbles for brains (a plausible idea) I saw/heard my RIR singing the egg song today after I got home from work. She was free ranging at the time, and I looked everwhere but found no egg. Why, chickenses? Why must you torture me so??

Sooo, I figured I would make a point by cramming new grass into the nesting area in the run, and then stuck a golf ball in there. The RIR and BSL gave it a good eyeballing for a few minutes. It was kinda fun to watch

I hope they take the hint! Even though that BSL's face is so woefully pale. She's 26 weeks old. I think I fail as a chicken keeper. At least, when it comes to the egg laying department. Trixie, don't you love me any more?! Ya brat.

Oh my gosh Red you are so much fun! I love reading your posts, you have such a unique perspective and a great sense of humor.
