UCM, that picture made me laugh, especially the 'married' rooster.

Lisa, what chick is Cynthia holding for you, again? Good luck with the crazy schedule! Hope it goes smoothly.

I usually don't get too behind on here, but this time not so much. Homecoming this week, Go Logan! I have so many mom assignments between now and Fri, baking R.Velvet cupcakes, making sugar cookies in the shape of L, H, S....sewing costume accessories, delivering cards, barbies (long story) videoing the parade and the list goes on. Wish me luck, I will need it! My girl has this year left then I will be D-O-N-E! At least til my boy is in high school. But he better not be on the drill team....

lol And... If Logan loses after all that work I will be ticked! haha!
Cynthia, I wish I could come pick up my baby! She is going to be all feathered in before I get to hold her. Hoping something will work out for a ride to somewhere north of you. Thanks for holding on to her for me, I really appreciate it!

Lisa..ara said she could meet you..a few pages back. Just pm her and talk with her. The chicks won't get here until around the 28th, but she said she could meet you somewhere up north after getting her babies here..
Yes, she is getting more wing feathers, growing, and still looks like a girl. See, that's one good thing about waiting, if it starts to look like a boy, you know I will let you know.

It sounds like you are having fun right now. Enjoy these moments! You sew! Lucky daughter!! Wow, sounds like you are doing a lot for her. Sounds like Logan is doing great this year...so...I'm with ya...Go Logan! You have me excited now.

That would be the splash NN, with no NN...black spot on face :) so cute!

I missed Aravis' post! That would be awesome if she would do that. Where is she at? i cannot remember...West Jordan maybe?

Aww Birdman we love you too :hugs You are the only one with chick self control around here! ;) And what would we do without all your great ideas and knowledge?!

Birdguy, I may have a GSL, give me a week or two to decide. Mine is turning into HenRee the 2nd. If you don't know about that fiasco, my old GSL HenRee ate the butt feathers off of a SLW I had last year, and continued to do so at Blujems house after they tried their hand with her. Naughty Chicken. My new GSL is a little better, but has recently decided to start eating feathers, off the ground, off her friends...for a few days, so we are trying to fix her and if it won't work she is outta here. She is the best layer ever. Those GSL lay the best red XL eggs. I so so so hope she works out. Won't know if I have others for sale until they lay, I plan to sell 4-5 but want to wait and see the egg colors first. Will let you know :)

They won state last year, so we are Hoping our luck holds for one more year. ! Thanks for the big cheer~!

We're down in West Jordan and will be in Ogden next weekend if you can get it into the SL Valley I can bring it to Ogden. I'm in Herriman almost every afternoon for work or I could meet them in the Ikea parking lot, that's just off the freeway and convenient for someone to meet me. I'm in Ogden fairly regularly, so I could bring it up after I get my chicks from Cynthia, too if we can't make arrangements for this week. Just let me know!
We went to the fair on Friday and saw the chickens. My son thought they were the neatest thing...well, after the cows, he loves cows! I hope to have some coop progress pictures to share this week.

I found this post, yay!!!! Aravis, I would be thrilled to meet you in ogden if you could get my little baby. Thanks!!! Woo hoo!!!!!

There are some good friends on here, for sure!

Lisa, yep! I believe Aravis is in WJ. I know this sounds far fetched, but if someone does end up transporting your chickie up to the SL valley and Aravis can't meet them right away, I could probably hold the chick and meet with her later. Choo choooooo.

I found another egg stash! HA! I knew that BSL was hiding some from me. The BSL I had in Tooele did the same thing. I found a total of three stashes she hid out there. There could have been more, but I wasn't able to check for them. Sneaky, those girls. This stash was deep inside a pile of branches and dry grass we have out in the back corner. I've probably looked there a dozen times already and seen the chicken trails, but I didn't find the nest until today. I'm kind of tempted to cover that pile with a tarp when the wet season hits so that she can still go in there and lay. It's out of the way and very protected, and it's kind of fun to hunt eggs

Lisa, love your coop! I knew it was looking fancy...er. Nice job! You have a lot of room in there for them to get around. Cute bunnies. Miss Frisco is gorgeous!

I love seeing the photos of the Polish. I love their eyes, they looks so sweet..let's hope they are. My BCW, has black going all the way down it's neck, all the way around? hmmm.. Then the speckled grey in the body. It still doesn't have as much on top as yours..if that one with the "quite" the hairdo is a girl, it will have that full top won't it? I can see one of the silvers has a real pretty lacing to it. Fun! They are such funny little birds. The one I hatched is always making noise when I'm out there. I go up to the fence, it comes right to me. The buff actually came up to me today.

Sasha..still no egg, from "Melvis" :D Checking out nest boxes, but not sure if she is because the others are in there, or she is getting ready.

Cute chicks, Lisa. They look like they're entering the feathered velociraptor stage. Like the bunnies too.

More egg craziness at my house. I got one brown and two blue eggs, except the one blue egg is huuuuuuuge. The blues have been in the 29-32 gram size. This one is 59 grams. Wow! I'm sure it'll be a double yolker.
