Utah!

Hector, you never know with these. That's part of the fun with them. They change big time as time goes on. They are good layers, and I know the size of the eggs, very nice size. :)

Hi Utah people, long time since I've been here. How is everyone? I've been busy with school work. Lots of homework and projects 1st term

Glad Fall break is finally here so I have time to let loose from all the homework. Sorry if my typing is bad. I'm on an iPad it;s kind of hard

I'm a tattle tell..he gets straight A's! Good kid!

Cynthia, the comb and wattles on Larry are slightly pink. The comb looks different from the sides because one side is black lol it is weird! But cute! That Polish with the blue top is so tiny. Much smaller than the others. Not as good of temperament as the Buff, so not sure if I will keep her....but where she is the other "she" as far as I can tell, I am going to see how she does. If I do not keep her and Larry is a boy too I hate to leave my Buff laced all by herself, I would need another tween...trying to avoid that lol! Can you believe how developed that Silver Laced is? You would think he is weeks older than the others. Beautiful hairdo, of course it is a boy. boo. I have been loving that one's look so much!

LOVE the SF chicks, those are dang cute! I like the furry fuzzy little heads.

Red, my Delaware is 20 weeks so let's hope that is the mark! hehe! She is little for her age so far, but still growing....she was smaller than her sister as a chick.

Sphinx congrats on finishing up your race! Now it is YOU needing that hot bath for sure. And lots of soap lol . Hope you can show us a pic of your dirty cute self! Love your latest choc egg :D!!

Hi Hector! Just so you know, I love your new buff laced polish and will be her stalker on here. Hope you can put pics up, I sure would love to see how she turns out! Mine is similar but the head is not near as fluffy. AND I think the lacing on yours was looking cleaner last time I saw her......love those :love So now we will have twin sister chickens :)

Sasha how as the chicken show?

Wow, LOVE the pics, guys!! Cute chickies and Cynthia, those SFH's are tooo cute, I can't take it=)

Love all the new eggs, too and that little one made me laugh...

Lisa, hoping my OE lays soon, it should be anytime, I moved her recently to my mom's place, so that may delay her a bit...

My Delaware pullets are pretty big, but not too red yet, I can tell they will be heavier birds when they're done growing, I have 2 pullets and my boys call them, 'the sisters' because we can't really tell them apart, haha, they hang out with my Ameracauna roos and will be going to my mom's place for EE eggs, woohoo!!

Just for Lisa, here's a picture from the Tough Mudder. In this shot, I am crawling through live wires. It's 10,000 volts in those strings hanging down, and seemed to be set up similar to an electrified fence- having the zap run through the wires every few seconds. Being in the water seemed to magnify the zaps. This obstacle really was kind of miserable. Several of my teammates reported losing consciousness extremely briefly after being zapped.

Oh my gosh, you gotta be kidding! That is mean and awful lol! I am glad you did not get zapped. Love that picture :)

Sphinx, are ya kidding me? What was the point of the race, again? Congrats for making it through, though!

One of the turkeys has taken a leaf out of the chickens' book. She's started flying over the fence to graze on our back lawn. The only problem is, she's twice as big as any chicken and way heavier, so she practically takes down the fence with her, lol!

Guess I'd better reinforce it.

Serious, hardcore congratulations for making it! I know another person who did it and he said it was absolutely a life changing experience. I am insanely impressed with anyone who makes a serious attempt, even if they don't finish it.

I absolutely DID get zapped. And it hurt. A lot. There was actually two obstacles with electricity. It just didn't seem to affect me as much as my teammates. Last spring, I was crawling through our electric fence. I thought it was off, so I wasn't as careful as I usually would be. Right as the string was perfectly lined up with my spine, allllll the way from my neck to my tailbone, I discovered that it was, in fact, on. That hurt worse. I wouldn't say it was life changing, but it was a lot of fun.

Red, the mental picture I get of your turkey taking down the fence has me cracking up.
