Sphinx, love that pic! You did a good job on the makeup. I envy people that can muster up the ambition to run....I can't do it! You are just a fun person, always doing something interesting for sure
Hattie, sorry your baby is not improving! It is so hard to make that decision. I feel for you girl
Cynthia, good luck through the night! Hope you really sleep and wakeup to lots of furry cuteness!
I agree with Birdman on the roosters....if I had one, he would have to behave or he would be (somebody else's!) dinner. Funny how much I love my girls and how attached I get...but if one gets mean, it is getting easier to let them go.
Mimi--I sure do love my Silver laced polish boy, he has gotten so beautiful....the lady from Wyoming has not come to pick him up yet, and I am kind of ok with that, I am going to have a hard time letting that boy go. He is going to make some beautiful babies! I wish she lived closer, then I could snag one of his chicks when the time comes! He is getting those pretty saddle feathers that hang down the side of his tail. His hairdo is gigantic too....why o why do the cutest Polish turn out to be boys lol it happens every time.
Are you going to keep yours? Are you still sure they are both boys?
Red---my Black Ameraucana same age-ish as yours started laying. They are super light really pale greenish bluish. Hope you get a little darker from your girl! I got two eggs from her so far, maybe they will darken up. I also have my second Wheaten Am that started, they are the bluest so far of my girls. One more Blue Wheaten to start laying in a month, then that will be all the Am's/ in my flock. Finally getting those blue eggs, mission completed
