Next week we are going on vacation for one week. My chickens will be 13 weeks old when we go. I'm not going to be able to let them run outside is the pen as no one is able to let them out and put them back at night. Will they be okay being kicked in the pen and coop area for one week if water and food are full. We always fill their water and food 100% each week. Please advise.

Thanks bunches. I feel more secure knowing that they will be fine. I'll miss them while we are gone. I love sitting out back watching them run and play and fly around

It would be good to have someone come over and just check them after a couple of days. Make sure they have water. Sometimes something unforeseen can cause an unplanned for wreck.

It would be best if you could have a neighbor or friend drop by, even if only once every couple of days, just to make sure the water isn't knocked over or rats ate all the feed or anything like that.

I would be a nervous wreck.

How secure is your run? Does it have an apron around it that is secure?

Make sure they are well protected. Also, do they go in my them selves?
