Vaccinate 10-week chicken?

Hello I have a 10 week old chicken from a neighbor who did not vaccinate him as a chick. I’d like to get him vaccinated with whatever is possible but I’ve called several exotic animal vets who do not vaccinate chickens. Does anyone have any idea how I can get him vaccinated or do it myself?

Vaccinating for Mareks or coccidiosis at this point is probably not going to help. If they is a certain disease that affects some clock members that is a good reason to vaccinate. It takes a couple of weeks for vaccines to take affect and achieve immunity, so a lot depends on what disiease you are looking to prevent.

Thanks. It’s beyond me why they don’t vaxx their chicks. Just wondering what can be done at this age.

Doesn’t matter what age they are if you phone a local vet and ask they should book you in they give two vaccinations one for salmonella and the other I can’t remember what for lol if that’s any help
